OPEN SKATE
OPEN SKATE
DeForest Yards and LEGACY20 Arena DeForest are happy to provide regularly scheduled OPEN SKATE times each week on the indoor ice sheet.
OPEN SKATE on the outdoor ice sheet will also be available. These times will vary on a weekly basis and will lean more toward evening and weekends for skaters to enjoy.
The Registration tab (to the right) will allow interested parties to register for the OPEN SKATE sessions and view the upcoming dates and times.

Skates
We do have skate rentals available for youth sizes. However, we cannot guarantee to have your desired size in stock.
We will be ordering more sizes and options over the course of the 2025-26 winter hockey/skating season.
HELMETS
All participants under the age of 18 are required to wear a helmet. The helmet must be either an approved bicycle helmet, ski/snowboard helmet or hockey helmet.
Adults are strongly encouraged to wear a helmet.
Protective Equipment
Participants are not required to wear protective equipment such as elbow pads, shin guards, etc. However, protective equipment is encouraged for 'new' skaters.
